Biodiverse landscape and garden designers

Haddon Studio: landscape and garden design

We are a studio of award-winning garden and landscape designers based in York - and we design gardens across Yorkshire, the UK, and Internationally.

We design contemporary gardens, although we are mindful of the context in which each garden is set, delivering to meet our clients’ needs as well as to ensure a sustainable, sensitively overlaid, and biodiverse garden or landscape is left in our wake.

We create contemporary gardens, where people and wildlife co-exist

We are landscape and garden design experts in:

- assessing your garden’s opportunities and limitations

- visualising your garden’s potential in 3D

- turning possibilities into 2D plans and plans into reality

- designing with consideration for the development of plants over time, changing and growing through the seasons and years

IMPLEMENTATION PHASE

We inspect all elements of the construction and planting to ensure your garden is built to specification

We design gardens of unrivalled quality and creative flair. Our expert horticultural knowledge, combined with creative design, gives you an impressive garden, that does not require intensive maintenance, and that you can enjoy and be proud of – providing landscape and garden design from concept to completion.

We work closely with homeowners (with gardens ranging from small courtyard gardens to large country estates) helping to inspire them to reconnect with their outside space - allowing us to create their perfect garden, combining elements of somewhere to relax, somewhere to socialise (perhaps as an outdoor extension of indoor living), and as a contemplative space within the wider landscape. We also work with architects and planning consultants to create gardens that complement the architecture of either bespoke or renovated homes.
